Once stressed and overwhelmed working in television, yoga has helped Erin find a sense of calm and balance in her life.
“I used to get sick all the time, and now I don’t.” she says "I used to shake because of nerves, but now I’ve learned to manage my breath which helps me put things in perspective.”
Erin has found the philosophy of yoga to be especially helpful in her life, in ways big and small. For instance, when she recently ran out of gas, she was able to calmly handle a situation which previously would have sent her over the edge.
On a grander scale, her way of thinking about herself has changed how she thinks about others.
“Yoga has taught me the more you like yourself, the less you need to be jealous, which has definitely helped me lead a much more fulfilling life.”
