This workshop will cover basic anatomy and biomechanics principles to common injuries that a yoga teacher or yoga practitioner is likely to encounter. Participants will gain a solid understanding of how to keep themselves and their yoga students safe in the yoga class setting, and how to support healing of orthopedic imbalances and injuries through the yoga practice.
The training covers basic anatomy, terms, and common injuries for each joint in the body as it relate to yoga asana. The required text for the training is Functional Anatomy of Yoga by David Keil (not included in workshop price).
