Pure Pilates Wheel — The original name of the Pilates Method was “Contrology”— pilates is always about being in control of your movements, while creating space, length and increased range of motion. The Method is performed by lengthening, strengthening, and elongating all of your muscles, from your core first. That is the essence of Pilates: drawing your stomach in (constantly), keeping your spine in Pilates posture (constantly), while moving your arms and legs. Joseph Pilates created and used machines in his practice for added assistance and resistance of the movements in his methodology. The Pilates Wheel lets you experience the Pilates Methodology as you do with the Reformer, Cadillac and Wunda chair.
Pure Pilates Wheel will strengthen and elongate your body from head to toe, as well as leave you understanding and appreciating the Pilates Method every time!
PILATES WHEEL BOOTCAMP

The Pilates Wheel is about lengthening and strengthening your muscles using assistance and resistance. This leads to increased mobility and balance, while still allowing you to move through intense muscle progressions. When we add the Bootcamp aspect, we will change stations, keep our intensity and focus up for longer periods of time, and (safely) push ourselves a little farther than expected that day.
Pilates Wheel Bootcamp is a mixture of Pilates, weight-bearing exercises and cardio. This class is designed to keep your heart-rate up, your muscles strong, and your brain engaged!
PASE TRAINING (Power, Agility, Strength, Endurance)

How do you really run faster, jump higher, increase balance, gain muscle or lose weight? PASE training will help you do that, by working your body in a way that will truly bring change. Consistency in this class will bring dramatic results over a 8-12 week period.
Power, Agility, Strength, Endurance. What do these terms mean to you?
Power - To move ballistically through a movement.
Agility - To be aware of one’s body in space while moving. Being balanced in movement. Being able to move quickly. (Necessary in life.)
Strength - This is the basis of all movement. It is the ability to apply force to a specific mass.
Endurance - The ability of a body or a muscle to perform at a high level over an extended period of time.
When PASE exercises are done on their own or in combination with each other, the results are fast and measurable. During each class period, every workout will be different, wherein we will employ one or more of these modes of training each time. Each person’s results will be unique and measurable.
