I’ve personally always wanted to visit Thailand and experience the culture so intricately rooted in Buddhist teachings. Join me, Cheryl Moss, MAY 3-10, 2020 for an intimate retreat adventure in Chaing May, Northern Thailand.
This part of Thailand is considered one of the most scenic of the country because of its mountain ranges, valleys, waterfalls, and plant life. Its culture has its own distinctive food, music, art and way of life and it's known as a handcrafts center with silver jewelry, hand embroidery, Thai silks, and wood carvings.
AND DID I SAY ELEPHANTS?!?! The area is known for Elephant sanctuaries AND this retreat includes a private visit to one where we could swim with them in a waterfall in the jungle.
Finally, more than 90% of Thai are Buddhist, possibly the largest Buddhist population in the world and the monks are available us.
Taladya Homestay is a four star beautiful Retreat Center 20 minutes north of the city center. It has
six rooms and a pool and jacuzzi. Retreat price will include yoga, all meals, hotel transfer, spa services (two Thai massages each guest), visiting local villages and temples, artisan markets, hiking, and the visit to the elephant sanctuary.
Maximum occupancy is 8-10 people. This gives us an opportunity to enjoy one another and adventure together. Relax, rejuvenate, adventure in the energy of a peaceful, kind culture.
